Terms of Service
Effective date: [LEGAL: set at launch]. These terms govern your use of StockYaar (toolswarehouse.sbs), operated by [LEGAL: registered business/proprietor name] — an ownership fact specific to your business registration, not something derivable from the codebase. By creating an account, you agree to them.
The service
StockYaar is a multi-tenant SaaS platform for retail inventory, stock, and point-of-sale, including GST-compliant invoicing. Each business's account and data are isolated from every other business's.
Accounts & trial
Creating an account starts a free trial with full access — no card required. The business owner can add staff accounts with role-based permissions and is responsible for what those staff accounts do, and for keeping login credentials secure.
Subscriptions & billing
After the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription, billed via Razorpay. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Changing plans mid-subscription isn't supported yet — cancel and resubscribe to switch plans, or contact us for help.
Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion for billing errors on our part.
Your data
You own the business data you enter into the service. We don't claim ownership of it and only access it to operate the service or with your permission. You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, including tax/GST details used on invoices.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service for anything unlawful, attempt to access another business's data, interfere with the service's operation, or reverse-engineer it.
Availability & warranty
We aim to keep the service reliable but provide it “as is”, without an uptime guarantee — no current plan includes an SLA.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Termination
You can stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or have significant unpaid balances, with notice where practical.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll notify account owners by email before the changes take effect.
